I return for an update on the continuation of my music listening. Once again I am faced with the problem of having too many songs on my computer (and hard drive), most of which have had at least one listen…still not all. But that’s okay! I can deal with having too much to listen to. An endless amount of tunes can be found elsewhere as well, so I’ll never have to worry about losing touch with new and contemporary classics. 

I will leave you with this: Cherish the music, yours and ours. Some day there may be nothing else. Always remember this universal language.

This lovely experiment should have ended 14 days ago!

We’ve still got 5 days of music to go. I’m trying to decide whether I should cherish it and only listen to it when I’m in my room? Or if I should just hold true to the original guidelines set out on July 31st…

To think that, back then, I was looking ahead at two months of music listening. Now all that time has passed…

Life really does just pass you fly by.

* Clearly, it’s been a long time since my last post. And as you can imagine, I’ve played thousands of songs within the past 10 days…which means that I won’t be posting the song list unless someone requests it. Because it messes with tumblr.

Anyway, I saw Bassnectar last night for the first time. So intense. (Double rainbow…) I ended up getting a headache a few hours in, but it was most definitely worth it.

Also noteworthy, I composed a 4-minute film score for one of my friends a little while ago. Went very well.

Now I’m working on a 3-part flute piece in a contemporary style…

Luck is needed on this day. Good thing it’s 10-10-10.

* You may think that there are only 2 days left, but alas, you would be wrong. We’ve got about 15 days to go. 

Next time I experiment with something like this, I’ll try to account for error beforehand…
